IN-FRAME KIT
Includes sleeve & piston assembly (or rebore kits), rod bearings, main bearings with thrust washers (where used), head gasket set, and oil pan gasket.

OVERHAUL KIT
Also known as an out-of-frame kit, this kit includes sleeve & piston assembly (or rebore kits), rod bearings, main bearings with thrust washers (where used), overhaul gasket set, and front & rear crankshaft seals with wear sleeves (where used).

 

What's the difference between and inframe and overhaul engine kits?

All inframe and overhaul kits come with cylinder kits, rod bearings and main bearings. The main difference is in the gasket set. In an inframe rebuild you do not remove the crankshaft or front cover. Because of this, the inframe kit will not include gaskets for the front or rear structure of the engine. The front and rear crankshaft seals are also not included in inframe engine kits. In fact, the only lower gaskets you would get in an inframe kit would be the oil pan gasket set.

In cases where you require timing cover gaskets, crankshaft seals and/or water pump gaskets, you would need an overhaul kit. Overhaul gasket sets are much more complete and are used when the engine is disassembled completely.

Other gaskets or gasket sets you might need to purchase in an overhaul that would not be include are oil cooler installation, fuel injectors and fuel injection pump & lines. If they aren’t included in your inframe or overhaul kit, we can add them for you.

NEW CYLINDER HEADS !!

  

These are all brand new cylinder heads and will  come with or without (depending on your needs)  springs, valves and other parts. We are always adding to these as our supplier continues to produce more heads. Make sure before ordering that you supply us with casting numbers off your old cylinder heads and may require to provide more information as needed.


Remanufactured Cylinder Heads

A remanufactured cylinder head is a head that has been rebuilt with parts that are still serviceable. Some cylinder heads have been welded or repaired. All cylinder heads are pressure tested to assure a leak-free casting. New valve seats have been installed when needed. All cylinder heads have a three angle valve cut with a blade type seat cutter. Valves are ground to factory specifications or replaced if necessary. Valve springs are checked. Cylinder heads are painted, resurfaced, and reassembled.
